In our Action/Advocacy role, the League is nonpartisan but we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest.

The League is recommending a "YES" vote on Proposition 79 and a "NO" vote on Propositions 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, and 78 in the November 8, 2005 election.

We are neutral on Proposition 80 (Electric Service Providers. Regulation); that is, we are not taking a stand either for or against that proposition.
